The Jump

Are you afraid of doing something?

Perhaps you should see how scared you can be if you are late, if you didn’t do something at the right time.

Knowing that you should have done something and you didn’t can be terrifying. You wish you should have been bolder, you wish you should have had more courage. You wish you should have been less naïve.

It is almost always a better idea to do something – anything – rather than play with ideas in your head or postpone stuff because you are insecure or straightforwardly lazy, indolent, lethargic.

When time is almost entirely lost, the only choice you have is to be foolish and irrational and jump without a safety belt into the unknown, be it the chaos, the void, or both. You have a very small chance to win. It is very late… But what’s the alternative? To stay and keep dying?
