Hans Rosling

You are about to see a series of amazing videos of Hans Rosling, an important personality – doctor, statistician and speaker – who passed away 2 days ago. He was professor at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden and his revolutionary ideas on explaining statistic info to the general public are absolutely astonishing. The first video is a TED speech that pretty much made him famous.

Prof. Rosling also made a free educational movie – Don’t Panic – that I invite you to see. It takes about an hour but it’s worth seeing. You will witness a state-of-the-art presentation.

A lot of issues are discussed, one of them being climate change.

Uncompromising with media, always ready to defend his opinion, by all means.

And here is an hour long documentary about his life, about the man behind the academic title, who can do incredible things to support his cause. You need to switch on the English subtitles in the video.

His work is continued by the Gapminder Foundationhttps://www.gapminder.org .
