George Enescu – Romanian Rhapsody

This is a famous Romanian piece composed by George Enescu, Romania’s national composer. It is performed by an orchestra conducted by Sergiu Celibidache.
As I said many times before, you must witness the performance of a musical piece by an orchestra or a conductor speaking the language of the composer. In this old video below, you can perceive the true spirit of a Romanian conductor – extremely creative and always free.
