Luigi Boccherini – Fandango

This is my favorite baroque music piece. It’s a great mix of Italian, French and Spanish spirit – the Quintet No. 4 in D major (“Fandango”) for strings, guitar & castanets, G 448, by Luigi Boccherini. It is performed by Alia Vox, conducted by Jordi Savall, who also experimented with different musical traditions during his career. On a different occasion I will share some Celtic traditional folk music also played by Savall and perhaps some early music on antique music instruments.
